WITH CHRIST IN YOUR SEASONS

Scripture: Isaiah 9: 6, 7
“For to us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end. Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.”
We want to rediscover the true meaning of the Christmas season so that a symphony of praise and hope due to Him being present  in our lives can be unlocked in our lives.
This special festive season has as its focus the King of all kings who became man – JESUS CHRIST! He is called Emmanuel, God with us, the Savior, the Redeemer, as well as every other name quoted in our verse for today.
Exalt Him! He is worthy!
His incarnation means that the chains of sin, unrighteousness, sickness, spiritual blindness and deafness can be broken in our lives forever. We need not stay locked up in dungeons of difficulty, loneliness, bitterness, self hate, and, and, and – we can get through and out of it, because “… if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.” (John 8:36)
Aren’t you prompted to exalt Him?
Don’t forget that everyone that believe in God and Jesus Christ are worthy to be called, “Children of God, and if children, then heirs – heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ.” (Rom8:17);”Priests of the Lord, servants of our God.” (Isaiah 61:6); “Oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor.” (Isaiah 61:3)
It deserves your humble exclamation, “I praise You! You are exalted!”
We also discovered that despite and amidst our problems we can still reach out to other people and encourage them. In doing this we fulfill 1 Peter 2:9, “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.” And what is the effect on us? We ourselves are being built up because we become His hands, mouth and feet to a broken world.
I praise you that You are concerned about me. You are an awesome God!
Can you see what we are doing? Our praises join together all the voices and instruments on earth that continuously confirm and call out in awe, “You reign; you establish and uphold your kingdom with justice and righteousness from that time and forever! (Isaiah 9:7)
I praise you that You are concerned about me. You are an awesome God! You truly reign forever!
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you that you are ever present in my life. It leaves me speechless and in awe to know that the Lord Almighty came to earth for me, a mere human being! Let me never forget that I exist because You are the “I Am”! Amen.
